On race day, we'll need all hands on deck. Be part of the Strides community and join us for a fun day celebrating Chicago coming together to promote peace in our beautiful city. Volunteer assignments include registration, water stations, packet pick, help to set up and break down, community partner liaison day, civic partner day and help in general. 

All Volunteers please arrive early for volunteer instructions and volunteer orientation.

Race Day Schedule:

4:30 PM - Onsite Registration and Packet Pick-Up begins
6:00 PM - Kids for Peace Sprint
6:15 PM - Warm Up, Welcome and Acknowledgements
6:30 PM - 8K Run Start
6:35 PM - 5K Run Start
6:40 PM - 2 Mile Walk Start
7:45 PM - Race Awards and Kickoff to a Safer Summer Celebration with DJ Hotrod
