Israel's Gifts of Hope supports parents, siblings, family members, friends, and community members who have been affected by Chicago's Violence. Our mission is to support anyone who has been impacted by violence. To spread awareness on the ripple effects violence and trauma have on our communities. To unite survivors, community members, and elected officials so that together we can improve resources on the Northwest Side of Chicago to better address violence and create safe spaces for all. 

We do this through: 

Survivor Support- We support families through the process of losing a loved one. From attending funerals and arranging meal trains to hosting vigils, remembrance events, group therapy, and remaining a contact for the family during their grieving journey.

Community Engagement- We host events that spread awareness on the impacts of violence but also connect survivors and community. We host back to school drives, holiday events, block parties, basketball tournaments, and more!

Resource Advocacy- We advocate for preventive programs and funds to directly support families with funeral costs, housing stability, and access mental and emotional health services after violent incidents.
