We have come so far since 2020 with 10 youth employed in West Garfield Park. We have grown to 115+ youth employed across not just 1 but 6 communities. Youth are doing much more than picking up trash or community beautification; they are learning carpentry, welding, auto mechanics, visiting business owners across the city, and serving unhoused individuals and communities. The work of Hood Heroes, for the sake of our youth, must continue.
