After School Matters is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to provide Chicago public high school teens with opportunities to explore and develop their talents, while gaining critical skills for work, college and beyond. In 2019, After School Matters provided nearly 19,000 teens with high-quality after-school and summer programs in arts, communications & leadership, sports, and STEM.
