WE HAVE SEEN THE POWER OF A RENEWED MIND! 

A renewed mind is spiritually aware, confident, hopeful, and generally satisfied with life. Unfortunately, many depart from this earthly realm without experiencing the power of a revitalized mind. Both overt and concealed struggles of life impede our capacity to truly comprehend God, others, ourselves, and the world around us. 

This reality led to the start of our Mental Health Initiative, designed to address the pervasive mental health disparities within our community. Informed by a comprehensive Community Health Needs Assessment conducted by the University of Chicago's UAID chapter (United Against Inequities in Disease), we have identified a strategic starting point to serve our youth, families, and staff. This initiative will integrate diverse mental health services into the organization's programs. Tailored interventions, including visual art therapy, personalized violence prevention counseling, and interpersonal therapy, will also be deployed to provide and foster healthy outlets.
