New Community Outreach ’s Fundraiser

Benefitting: New Community Outreach
Event Fundraiser: Strides For Peace - 2018 Race Against Gun Violence

New Community Outreach is guided by a vision of thriving Chicago communities led by neighbors of all ages. We work collaboratively with residents of the South Side of Chicago to reduce the causes of physical and emotional trauma and raise the opportunities for community equity and individual flourishing.

All funds raised through Strides for Peace will go to our work with elementary and high school students in the Bronzeville community. Learn more here: http://newcommunityoutreach.org/

About New Community Outreach

New Community Outreach (NCO) actively supports youth and families in Chicago’s Bronzeville community. We do this through our partnerships with Jackie Robinson Elementary School, the Bronzeville Community Action Council, The Urban Resilience Network, and other local and city-wide organizations. Building on the relationships of our leadership and board of directors as well as the ministry of New Community Covenant Church, we have built community gardens, hosted back-to-school fairs, and organized with our strategic partners to reduce violence in our neighborhoods for God's glory. We are guided by a vision of thriving Chicago communities led by neighbors of all ages. We work collaboratively with residents of the South Side of Chicago to reduce the causes of physical and emotional trauma and raise the opportunities for community equity and individual flourishing.
