We are a group of providers from the University of Chicago Trauma Centers and Department of Surgery who treat victims of firearm violence every day. We are here to Race Against Gun Violence to create a better future for our patients and city. #WhyWeRun
We have chosen to support Healing Hurt People Chicago because they have supported our pediatric trauma patients in violence recovery for many years and we would like to pay it back. Please join us in the #RAGV2023!

About Healing Hurt People Chicago
Healing Hurt People-Chicago (HHP-C) is a hospital and community based violence intervention program launched in August 2013 as a collaboration between the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, The University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital and the Center for Nonviolence and Social Justice at Drexel University in Philadelphia.
